try 28 front and 32 rear. I don't know where congers is, but I live at 1000ft and sometimes ride up to 2000ft and 28 abd 32 worked good with no pipe mods.

You don't need to remove much of anything for the jets. You need sharp, new, best quality screw drivers
and patience. The screws on the float bowl are on too tight, and one of them requires a screwdriver
bit in a small ratchet (everybody does it different, but this is one way). An angled screwdriver tool
also may work. Be very careful not to strip the phillips heads, or drop the screws where you can't find
them. The jets take a flathead and are also on too tight.

If you are also doing needles, you need to take all of the middle body plastic off, and airbox to get to the diaphram screws. Gently tilt the carbs if needed to get at some of the screws.

Hey, I have the Big Gun exhaust, K&N filter and Jet kit with the Diamond G snorkle. I originally installed the 132 and 136 jets with needles in the 4 notch. It ran real strong but had a hesitation and mis at about 3/4 throttle. I put the 130 and 134 jet in and it runs smoothly but I don't feel it is as strong as before. I plan to maybe go bigger again when I get some time. I did alot of timed runs as I installed the different mods. I had a faster time with everything installed except the jet kit. Also have red and black clutch springs, I do not think this made much difference in the 120yard strip that I have been testing my times.

I lowered my jets today from 132f/136r to 130f/134r. I kept the needle on 4th notch. It seems much quicker. Next weekend I will run it againts some old foes. Air screw out 3 1/2 turns. I also replaced those terrible screws that everyone strips out with new ones with ellen heads. Should make the job much easier if I ever have to re-jet again. I believed I could have re-jetted without removing anything if it was'nt for those soft brass screws which keep on stripping on me.
