Hang on there, lets cuss the correct people. Maybe in your part of the country conservation is bad, but here, it is our last hope.

Conservationist = Lets manage the lands use and make sure people can enjoy it without ruining it.
Preservationalist = Forest is for animals and trees only. Humans stay out. Sometimes used synonymously with environmentalist.

I live in one of the most stupid states in the union. Here, we stupidly preserved the life of deer until they became so plentiful that we were constantly hitting them with our cars and killing ourselves. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb. So each year they keep on giving our more and more deer tags thinnking that we can thin the herd in just a few weeks. Well, that is reducing the herd somewhat, but in some locations we still have a high death rate due to deer overpopulation. That's an example of conservation being better than preservation.

Its not like I go tearing around town or trails in fact i push my quad into the gravel pit from the trailer and no one here cares about the noise brcause the pit is really deap so the noise stays low and no one lives withen 1/2 mile away so **** on this! I not like all you old people with prarie 650s crusing trails

Look the problem is most of us love the sound of a well tuned exhaust and if people wern't threatning to take our riding areas away we would have them. But as old farts we have learned that being young and stupid will get you hurt or banned, neither is a good thing.
I would look for a pipe that has a deeper mellower sound but please be concerned, we had a gravel pit here and no one lived withen 6 miles of it but it was shut down, why others rode horses or bikes or were old farts riding w/ their familes and took offence. Lets face it life sucks engough at times w/o loosing our riding areas and when we see another area closed off to us and we know it is b/c of people like you, well we take offence.
