I paid $6199 for mine. After the winch I walked (rode) out the door for about $6500.

By out the door, you guys aren't talking about taxes and license. I just paid 6250 for a p650 with two jet kits installed (I don't know the lingo). After taxes and license, it comes to around 6900. I haven't picked it up yet. I hope that I didn't get ripped off.

Metal,

I am in MI...My buddy Just picked up and 03 Grizz today..Have you ridden both? I am looking for an all around fun, fast machine. Not much work to do. Maybe plow a little snow. It always seems like the dealers around here won't deal on the Grizzlies but will on the Praires. That concerns me.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

They are both awesome machines. I went with the Prairie because of the Vtwin engine and the wet brake. The grizzly engine has to work very hard to produce the power that it produces. The dealer told me that the engine with need a lot more maintanence (rings pistons etc). He sells both

Yes, out the door is after all money that is going to exchange hands has exchanged hands. Taxes and all. About $6500 in my case, but I had a hook up. The advertised price was $6399 before taxes. I paid $6199 before.
We also don't have a license requirment here, so it was just tax.

Yes I rode both..I likeed the Grizz alot untill (A) the dealer would not budge on the 7grand sticker price and then they wanted "set up" for another 3 hundred..what a joke..set up means they put oil and gas in it and charge the battery. (b) THAT MOTOR..it really is as bad as they come..and has a lot of room for more..like it can be bored and honed to nearly 800cc..dual carbs..and the straight axle is more to my likeing and riding style.cant go wrong with it..
