I really dont see the 700 to be a moto x bike at all or a ruler of cross country but a great bike for the average joe shmoe. It will be pretty quick, easy to maintain, jump ok, powerful and have all the nice features every1 wants these days. will it be very popular? we will just have to wait and see.....

This is the quad I have been waiting for to use in GNCC and local harescrambles. For a couple years I have been racing utils in cross country. Always want a auto tranny sport but did not like the mac struts on Polaris. I have heard the complaints about the auto tranny. You just can't beat the auto in xcc racing. Not having to feel or know what gear you are in really helps in the woods, especialy when climbing steep hills. Shifting the gears for quick shots out of turns is not a concern in xcc. I think this is why Kawasaki has made this machine. They have been the only one of the big five that has supported a full team at the ATV GNCC. More xcc racers will buy this new quad. I have always bought yamaha but now that Kawasaki has shown that they will support ATV racing, it is time to start buy Kawasaki. I for one will give up on Yamaha. I have had a Wolverine, Grizzly 660, and Raptor and raced them all. The Wolverine seriously lacked power, the griz was way too top heavy, the raptor is great but for my style I will go with the KFX 700.
