I thought this was interesting... I found it in the bombardier forum. it was posted by Gmann....

First let me say that I am a loyal bomb owner for duning and ride a honda for mx racing. I had the opportunity to have dinner with one of the top individuals from Kawasaki last weekend after attending the sandsport show in Costa Mesa, CA. Since he is a family member, by marriage, I had to get the scoup on this new beast.

Here is what he had to say. Kawasaki is not going to limit this quad from the factory like the 650. You'll even be able to order the bike from the factory with all the pro circuit mods. And just in case you haven't noticed Kawasaki's pro circuit line seems to be working pretty good on the motocross side right now. The entire trany has been reworked for durability and quick response. They said that their pro test riders could not shift as quick and efficiently manually as with the automatic. I questioned this being a big torque guy myself and his response was just wait and see. I of course went right into the liability side of releasing this quad and he said their legal department has worked out all the details and they are ready to go. As for testing he says it has been non-stop testing the past several months. I asked him directly about the DS and raptor with head to head testing and he stated there was know comparison, both on the flats and up the hill. A lot of testing was done at Glamis and when I asked how it went he just smiled. I'm hoping to get to ride sooner than later on this new beast. But one thing is for sure they think they have a winner coming out of the gate. He also said that the aftermarket arena will take shape very quickly on this quad, not like the bomb that is still taking shape.

He has been with Kawasaki longer than I have been alive and believes this is one of the best products they have ever assembled. To say the least he was all smiles. He had nothing bad to say about the other bikes he just kept telling me to wait and see for myself because that is the only real test. I do know that if you want one you better get to your local kawa dealer and get on the list. Delivery is scheduled for late January or early March.

(Kawi has the others talkin....)

I've read the msrp is $6,499. OTD, of course will depend on your dealer. I guess a good approx. would be $250 plus whatever your sales tax is in your state on top of the msrp. I can't wait for this thing to hit the market.

BTW-Mich660GRIZ, I hope I don't offend you with this, but you have a picture on your site that I just LOVE! OMG, is right! WOW, is she your wife? I have a weakness for thongs, can't figure it. Hope I did't offend you, just my way of giving a compliment.

Is it true that Kawi will not release this quad to Suzuki? There's been rumors going around that some of the "Kawi Brass" isn't happy with this alliance thing. I'm not brand loyal and would love to have this quad. But there are more Zuki dealerships near me than Kawi. That's one thing I am loyal to, is the service I have gotten from the local Zuki shop and would rather go to them for a new machine than to drive over an hour for a new Kawi. But, if I had to, I would go for the Kawi if Zuki isn't getting it.

Tell ya what, Chet, I'll do the initial interview, ya know, to make sure she/they is up for the job. To make sure of the type of quality the Facility mandates. After that, I'll go ahead and send them to you for the final determination. I'll even take it upon myself to travel the country, world-if that is what it takes, to find the absolute top of the line thongs. It'll be a tough job, but someone's gotta do it. Whata ya say, Chet? Do I have the job? Will you allow me, with my extensive experience and intensive studies in the art of "the thong", to be employed by the Knowsalot Facitily? I feel I could be a valuable asset.
