what is that little black boot thing on the rear axle on SOME prairie 650s. its not on mine but i have seen it on others and i was wondering what it is for. its like this little black piece of rubber of both sides of the axle and it connects to the swingarm. is it anything special that i should get?

it is a cv joint cover, i think, it is not really worth it, unless you ride alot of rocks or hilly stuff.

Packard, if you are talkin about the axle dust covers, Kawi left them off on purpose. they found the oil seal does better without the dust covers.
