sunday was a beautiful day. brother in law, wifes 40yo first cousin(,male), me and some others( quads- my 400ex,mylakota,my trailboss 325.brothers inlaws trailboss, 500 schrambler 4x4.) ok get to the story. first cousin is riding my lakota with enought expirence in the past, riding 3 wheelers and dirt bikes. after about 10 min. of riding i'm following the lakota and look at the right rear wheel and its wobbeling bad i say hey first cousin did you hit something with the rear wheel he says no i dont think so, well mabye that tree that i clipped ,i hope for the wheel hub being bent. no such luck the axles bent i say lets just keep riding itle probley be ok to ride.

so were having a great time at the badlands in indiana after a hour and half i climb a curvy hill and make it to the top with no problem standing there looking down at the rest of the bunch a few feet away from the crest. look to the right and see the lakota sideways at the base of the hill with no rider i think o sh-t. went to look for the cousin and he's laying in the middle of the hill not moving. i think o sh-t a lot more. slide down to him he's awake and says my legs broke being the EMT that i am i said yep it sure is. the rear rack came down on his leg after the lakota flipped. o broken bone in his ankle to. a cast from his *** to his toes

Seems first cousin won't jump to think he can man handle a quad so fast next time, lol.

Well looks like the durablue 2+2 is in order. Think first cousin will spring for repairs? If he does we could devise a very good list of repairs, lol.

Good story thanks for the laugh

he offered to pay, and i would have taken the money if he had'nt gotten hurt. yep i'm ordering the 2+2 today. took the bent axle out last night, i'm also going to ditch the lame sproket and disc guard. also anyone else with a mojave or lakota who reads this i would take off the wheel hubs and put some never-seize on the axle splines as there was a bit rust there.

Damn, Bill, sorry to hear about that. The Badlands sure can be a treacherous place! 1st Vince and broken ribs, now this. How ya liking the EX? Have you ever put the Lakota up against that Scrammy? How did it do, if ya did? How's everything else going?

Gaff,
How you doin' down there? Been awhile since I've talked to ya. Have you thought about a new axle?
