I only came to quads last year, but I was there back then too. Sure like it better today. My nads like it the best, damn those metal gas tanks, lol

I remember those metal tanks very well. I even had to take my 1972 Kawasaki's tank off because it developed a leak in the seam.

I rode so much in the early 70's that I would have wear spots in the paint on both sides of the tank from my legs rubbing.

You could tell who rode a lot by looking at the tanks.

I would even go so far as to wax my tanks to keep the shine[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

I have rhode the z and kfx I know they are the sam but I felt like a king on the kfx go to it

 

You just got to love that lime color. The Z makes you feel like a monkey with a Banana.

I agree that the green looks the best,but the white Z looks good too.Another thing to think about is that you can find the Z's a lot cheaper than the KFX because they've been out a little longer.

I haven't seen a white Z. You could be right on the price reduction with the Z, especially the yellow ones.
