Pcpacker, the other filters work just fine. The differrence between them is mainly geometric. Find one that works and use it.

Five gallons will run $31.87 including tax. Its the only way to go in my opinion.

I buy my 424 at a Cat dealer (Carter Catipillar), also if you have an Exxon oil distributor close by I think they can help out as they have ties with Mobil.
