p400 melting headlight

I had what was looking like a burn headlight bulb, but when i try to replace it, i found that the headlamp body was melted , dont now what cause this, any idee somebody.

check your headlite switch, sometimes they dirt inside and causes both high and low to be on at the same time. rob

The wrong bulb in it? Sometimes when they go they get very hot when they blew... this happen to me on my 98 400.
