650 grinding noise
#1
Ive had my prairie for about a year now with around 1100 miles. It is makiing a clicking noise coming from the right side. It is not in the cvt cover it seems to be coming from underneith. You can actually feel a pop in the floorboard when it happens. The wierd thing is I can jack all four wheels off the ground and start it up, turn it and everything without a sound. It seems to do it worse when turning right, it does it in 2 and 4 wheel drive. Its not coming from the cv joints that is the first thing I checked. If anyone has any ideas please let me hear them. I am stumped.

It seems to do it both fast and slow but you can really notice it if you run the right front tire up on like a bank or something . I have even jacked the whole thing up ,then compressed the right front and still no noise. Its driving me nuts.

Did you check for wear on your lower contron arm bushings and your lower ball joint to check your ball joint you need to jack it up by the a-arm and grab the top and bottom and try band and move the wheel.those parts would be something that you would feel in the foor boards. Since they are bolted right there.

Yes I tried all that when I jacked up the right front everything is tight with no play at all.
