Default Vforce update

We thought the V700 was going to be an open terrain quad, well not so. Remember all of the GNCC racing KAW did? It was all put towards this chasse, according to Kaw they wanted the 700 to be the best handling Race/Sport quad ever built. This is a woods racer!

Next Forward Neutral Reverse is on the handle bar, remember the bar mounted shifter? That is what it is.

Why auto? Kaw wanted everyone to be able to get full potential (I think b/c it was cheaper and the had it). Also the P650 engine braking is gone??? What is in it’s place? Will it have any? Is this a problem?

It is 25lb heavier than a DS and 13 pounds lighter than the Predator so weight is not as bad as everyone is saying.

Kaw says it will out run out handle and out jump any production quad PERIOD! Those are bold words but it looks like Kaw put a lot of time in this unit.

Also this quad meets the GNCC requirements to race in the utility stock division. Makes you wonder huh...

It is an exciting time for our sport. I do believe that Doug Roll designed this chassis. That is saying a lot right there!

Daimon,
You mention the V-Force is 13 pounds lighter than a Predator. I was under the impression the Predator weighed 415 dry and the V-Force is 506 dry. Is the info I have incorrect?

Your sources are incorrect. The predator is 415 lbs dry and it comes with a more heavy duty axle(sompared to most of its competition)and heavy duty tires and wheels as well. Without this stuff it is about dead even with the raptor. The V force may be a very fast quad with a possible positive future in gncc events, or dunes. But face it man the V force is a hog in weight. It gots 80 pounds on the predator and 45 pounds on the ds 650.

Well my source was Polaris, Who was yours?
I was at the dealer the other day and he handed me a packett from Polaris (he used to work for me), the weight listed was 513. He spoke with the sales rep and was told that to the best of his knowledge that 513 was correct.
I may be wrong but those numbers came from Polaris and until I see one on a scale you can quote every mag you want I will stick w/ the factory specs.

http://predator.polarisindustries.com/techdata.asp Go here that is the factory specs! 415! Not any where near 500, The specs are there in black and white right on the Polaris web sight. I have never heard that 500 number from anywhere but you!

Well i've got every booklet that was made for the Predator from Polaris, and on EVERY ONE it say's 415lbs. So if you have that spec from Polaris, scan it, I would like to see it.
