i have a friend selling a K&N air filter for a mojave. is this a worthwhile mod for one of these things (does it give any noticable advantage)? does it require rejetting?

he's selling a white brothers exhaust pipe for it, too. too loud for me. if anyone else is interested, post, and i'll see what he wants for it. (he's sellin git because AGAIN it's too loud for me, and everyone else he's ever ridden with, and we threatened to tie his arms and legs between 4 quads and pull him apart at the seams if he didn't put the stocker back on.) Although the K&N will flow more air IMHO it is a bad idea to put one on a quad. I dont believe they filter as well as they should and will cause premature wear to the valuable engine.

 

You will be fine if you use a Outerwear. A K&N should give a little more throttle response and you won't have to rejet. Just my $0.02
