Default Sleeper Prairie

Just talked with my dealer about using the Vforce 700 CDI in my 650. He said that he thought it might work but would like to put the crank and CDI into it and have a 700 sleeper Prairie.

What do you think?

1 Bearman told us that the CDI was different enough that it would not work.

The diamond G CDI (available soon) alone will make a 650 more easily spank most other pesky machines, including top speeds.

Add a cam and a pipe and you got them all licked, even with heavy/bigger tires.

FST, i think, has big bore kits for the 650 that will make it 750cc without messing with the crank.

Penland has his up to 800cc, for maximum spanking power.

Would that 800cc be why that man was so dang fast in the 12 Hour Race?!?!? I never knew.

I forgot where I read it, but I remember that somebody beat everything up a hill by 30yards with an 800cc Prairie.

Mike P. does not build a 800 , I did. TC RACING built SCOTT KILBY's motor not Mike. There are NO over heating problem's with my 800, but because it is simpler I am only selling the 750 kit's.

The 750 kit consists of 2 piston kits, 2 sleeves, 2 head gaskets for $590. Re-sleeving the cylinder is required; no case boring. The kit will work best with cams and valves springs ($150 per cam exchange and $95 for VS per head). Ignition work is not necessary; simply advance the flywheel 6 degrees. The cams are designed to run under the rev limiter where most people ride anyway. Who cares how fast it goes on top speed - it's how fast you get there that counts. Case in point, my rider, Mike Shelley, pulled 30 yards on Scott Kilby's Prairie up a hill at the Wisp GNCC race. Scott Kilby's machine goes about 10 mph faster than ours - see my point.

Mickey Dunlap

Do you have e-mail, web site we must talk sounds interesting and would you sell what ever you have on your quad that is on your GNCC version. How would your system work with a turbo connected or have you already thought of it. I am interested I have a few months before the ice races start and a sleeper P650 sounds like fun.
