I did a quick search and didn't find any post on this topic. I have a 96 MO with the stock tires. I would like to gain some ground clearance. I geared it down already to I have covered that problem. I am looking at dirt devil tires either in 24 or 25 inches tall. I have hear they run smaller in size, is this true?

Yes i beleave u can get them in 22's. On a mojave 24 and 25 would be to tall! Can i ask what kind of ridding do u do!? Most mojave oweners cant wait to get ride of the 22's fo ra set of 20's!

 

i had 23" realators on it at one time and it was fine!

I have a like new pair of holeshot xct 22s that i bought for ground clearance on my mojave that I will sell you. I started mx instead of trail riding and put 18s on. the xcts have 98% tread left and are six ply, great tire for trail riding with the mo.

 

what are other good tires to get for the mojave with good tread wear and mostly hard packed dirt.

 

I ride trails only, mud, rock, gravel, dirt (hard packed and loose). I changed the front gear to 11 teeth so bigget tires will help get some of my top speed back not that i really worry about it.

 

How much for the 22"

mojaveaddict thanks for the offering your holeshots but I think I need more of a mud tire. I ride with a guy that has a trail blazer. He goes anywhere so I think I'm going to get 489a/t's after I check out the realator.

Who makes the realator?

Has anyone seen 24's on the back of a Mojave? The more clearance I can get the better. I get hung up on rocks or high centered when the wheels are in ruts all the time with my new skidplate.

 

24's are way to big! a friend of mine had a lakota with 24 rampage on it and they rubed like a bugger!
