for any of you who even thought of going to milwauke cycle in pa DONT the guy will tell something on the phone and youll get thee and the price has changed and somehow he figures he runs a salvage yard but when i went there i wanted som blaster rear end parts and they wouldnt sell them to me because they said the couldnt push the quad around afte rthe sold the parts i wanted and that even after i had a $150 worth of parts on the counter

 

a good while back i remember someone saying that he took a kx 250 crank, rod, piston, and head and put it on his tecate engine for some more juice. couldnt i reverse this and switch my crank, rod, piston, and head if i found a kx250 with a good tranny even in the engine was a basket case? and if so would anyone know what years this would work on?

 

you can not interchange tecate motor parts with kx 250 parts. the top end you can exchange but none of the lowerend especially the crank.
