Hey guys! Well i just got my letter back from the strong arm comp.! They are located in canada! witch is where i live! any way! I asked them about a set of +2+1 a-arm kit! and they are gonna make me a set that come with long travle Elkas,tie rods,ball joints,bearings,bushings and every thing ya need! True bolt on kit! The whole kit will cost about 2 grand! witch i didn't think was to bad! But man i cant wait! Iam aso getting a +2+2 durablue axle! cant wait! i will tell ya how it all works and looks after i get it!

 

Doesn't that seem just a bit too much for a quad that retails for 4 grand (even for Canadian $)?
Kinda like shootin' good money after bad...?
I own a Mo, by the way, and I can't justify that kind of money for A arms and shocks.
Anyway, let us know how it works for ya.

Mojavekid13, do you know a guy named Chris Adams, he works at Michelin and rides a DS650?

 

I used to know a few people who worked at the michelin plant..they dont work there now though. I had an old girlfriend whos father still works there though.

Yes i knwo chris very well! I love that toyota truck he has! ya chris has a set of ELKAs on his DS now! Hes one CRAZy driver! haah HE has a 250r or a 350x 3-wheeler to! Your SOOOOO right! all there is around hear is Banshees! I want to have somthing different! btu still be able to jump liek the shees!

 

Mojavekid13: Chris was in Bridgewater to an ATV competition this past summer; he had his Elka suspended DS650 in the sport class and I was running my KVF650 in the Utility class. He did pretty good, 3rd or 4th, I think. I got 3rd in my class.
I met up with Chris again at the Lawrencetown Exhibition Monday night competition, I think he came in 4th or 5th. I sucked badly as there was only one class; sport and utility machines all lumped together. I came in 24th out of 29 machines, my only point of pride was finishing ahead of 5 sport machines.

Darren Shafer from Canning was on his Banshee and won both events. Martin Van Kippersluse (sp?) came in second in both events riding his 250R. Those two guys are sick!! Have you ever seen them ride?
