plowing with a Bayou
#1
hello,
I was just curious if any members could give me some hints, ideas or experiences. I bought a '98 300 Bayou 4x4 in September, and a budddy of mine got me a sweet deal on a 48 inch Cycle Country Plow. I am running with a set of Mud Bug tires. Any thoughts good or bad would be appriciated.
Thanks
Greg

Greg:
We have a Bayou 220 4x2 with a 48" plow at the cabin. With tire chains it does so-so with gravel but it pretty good in snow. Without tire chains it doesn't plow well in dirt or snow.
You should do well with 4x4 and the 48" plow is a good size because it's easy to manuver and doesn't load up the front with weight.
Good luck,
