For those wondering about the specifications on the new V Force, here they are:

Digital DC-CDI ignition
Shaft drive
Long A-arm front susp. w/ 9.2 inches travel
Swingarm rear susp. w/ gas charged monoshock and 7.9 inches travel
22 x 7 x 10 front tires

Seat height: 33.5 inches

The dealer says arrival in March. Can't decide if I want to buy a Z400 now or wait for the V Force, but it will be a blast!

Yea, what is the weight of this machine? And what is the deal with 22-inch tires? It should have good ground clearance though

The weight was posted on one of the sites before at 506 lbs. Not sure if it is officiall or not, but probably real close.

In a back issue of Dirtwheels, if I remember right the twinn engine quad they were testing had dual exhaust. The V- Force has two into one.I wonder if you could run two tail pipes. It would maybe flow way better and look real cool. What do you think?

there will be a long list of after market accessories for the V-Force including dual exhausts. In the January issue of JunkWheels, they talked to Doug Roll and the other person (can't remember his name) involved in making this machine race ready. The comment was made that with a "few" modifications, this machine will top out over 100 mph.

Now this really got the gears turning. My hopes is that I can possibly buy the V-Force this spring (work permitting) and drop it down, add dual exhausts, Hi-Per composite rims, and anything else I can do with it to help it breath easier and run faster. Then it would be off to the Pikes Peak race. I have always wanted to race the Peak and I can think of no other machine I would rather do it on now.
