Mine does. Even slow ridding in cool weather {50 degrees} will cause the fan to run almost all the time.
Is this normal?
My radiator is perfectly clean and is full of water.

Does anyone know what temp thermostat the 650 has? Is there a cooler one available?

Howdy,
My fan used to run a lot. I use the additives from High-Lifter. One goes in the radiator coolant and the other goes in the oil. These have cut my fan running about in half. I have used them for over a year and have not had any problems. Have a goodun!!

Your fan should run more often at low speed than at moderate speeds as there is less air flow through the radiator itself. As long as the fan doesn't run consantly, you should be ok.

Also, make sure there is absolutely no mud in it.

Muffler wrap on the head pipe near the radiator cools things off quite a bit I hear. Some people have cut holes in the plastic guards oun the outlet side of the rad (up high) in an effort to improve air flow at low speeds. They claim it helped.
