We both know why the Polaris 700's come in 1st & 2nd at the local challenges - better drivers!!LOL! (Inside joke). You could put Carrol and Mathew on your old Quadmaster and I would still end up in third place. What's really scary is if Mathew and Carrol decided to buy P650's and race those machines. Then I'd get beaten even worse. One thing we did see at the last qualifier was that it pays to have a spare SP700 sitting around in case one breaks!!!(Another inside joke)!LOL
Seriously, the driver has the greatest effect on how a machine performs. If you're comfortable on the Polaris, or any other machine, for that matter, that's what you'll be happiest on.

I am not the kind of guy to put down any brand of ATV but if the Polaris ATv's are such tanks then why in our area at ATV challenge events to the Polaris 700's and 500's consistantly finish ahead of the 650 Prarie.

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm no Polaris fan but.... The Polari do come with real tires, I suspect I'm pushing 700lbs after replacing the duncraps.
and adding the hitch too!!

Hey Roscoe, you mentioned that you could get a Honda owner riled just by saying that the Rincon is junk. WEEEEELLLLLLL---read the December issue of Dirt Wheels. The Prairie was rated better in the mud than the Rincon, even though the Rincon has 11.5 inches of clearance and our beloved Prairie only has 7.75. How is this possible? Easy. The Prairie is a better quad!!!!!!!! HHAAAAHHAAAAAAA!!!!! Take that ride red!!! Also, in the same article, there is a picture of the three quads in a drag race. Who's in front? OH---that would be the Praire again! The caption underneath reads "In repeated drag races, the Kawasaki Prairie 650 edged out the Yamaha Grizzly and flat-out smoked the Honda Rincon". Did you guys get that? FLAT OUT SMOKED THE HONDA RINCON. Brakes----Praire. Engine braking----Prairie & Grizzly. Suspension----Grizzly. Price----Prairie($6999). Torque----Prairie. Best handling----Grizzly. Comfort factor----Grizzly. Top pick for pure sport performance on the trail---Prairie.
You wanna know why I posted this? Cause I ride with all Honda guys and they were riding me real hard about buying a Kawie----until I started smoking their a$$ every time I put the hammer down. Then when the Rincon came out they said that it was gonna eat the Prairie like nothing. Well boys---HHAAAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHHHAAAA!!!! I got the last laugh!!!!
This post is dedicated to all the guys I ride with who ride red. Honda is best------right behind my Kawie!!!!!

Yes i remember it well, the hondu owners laughing at the speed of my artic cat 300 swamp machine, even though they never got to laugh when we were in the muskeg. they laughed when i got my kawi stuck in a muskeg full of loon $hit. Well they dont laugh now, they knew how inferior the honda's are now.
They now knew how well the suspension works at top speed, and how fast it gets there.
I can go on and on and on, but i dont need too, they now knew what the kawi is all about and how honda's try at building a real quad failed again.
damn , now the will be really pi$$ed off.
To all the honda riders i ride with, thank you for giving me the chance to get even.
I feel great every time i ride it.

My only beef is when I hear people talk about how much better the prarie is than the rest. Much being ALOT better. It isn't ALOT better i say they are about all the same. A prarie may be lighter and have a little more power, but it wouldn't take much for a 700 to be as fast as a prarie. All it would take is a clutch kit. I've seen it!
