Again it comes down to personal preference, when I had the Mojave and the 300EX at the same time, I felt the 300EX was better, it just felt lighter and handled better to me, and there wasn't much difference engine wise, not to mention electric start (that kick start was a b*tch when it was wet). I haven't come across to many quads I couldn't beat either, its all rider, and looks are also a preference, I think the 300EX looks pretty good and the Rincon is the best looking Honda if you ask me. But thats just my opinion, like its your opinions that the Mojave is better.

I'll agree with you about the kick start...I can't tell you how many times I've bruised my leg up because my shoes were wet and slipped off...I never had any problems with my Mojave starting..also started no matter how cold it was atleast by the second kick. The Rincon looks cool in the front...but for some reason it just doen't look long enough. Now the new Rancher that's coming out I think that looks awesome!

About the Mo kicker........Ya it sux. Go to your Kawi dealer and order the rubber from a KE-100 dirt bike. Slip it on the Mo kicker.....problem solved.
Personally I have beat many 300ex's with my mo. My friends wife has an 87' 250x that we rebuilt with 11-1 compression and a more agressive cam (stock pipe though). She can stay 3 feet ahead of me but I weigh 100lbs more than her.
She kills the 300ex's with her 250.
I feel that If someone is smoking Mo's with a 300ex then they need to swap bikes and see what happens. Prolly rider error.

Hey about the 300ex being ugly. It's really that bad. Have you ever seen one in person. Mojave may be better. My friend has one and itis a great quad. Liquid cooled, DOHC. If honda smartens up and puts that stuff on there quads they will be the same as mojave. Their is no point making some of someones quads because you personal dont like it. Some people like the mojave, some like the 300ex. I was looking at both of them until my dad desided to get me a new quad. By the way i would beleive 300ex does better in motocross then a mojave, but mojave has the smallest edge ever over the 300ex in a drag. Aboutthe KFX250 comment. That was so stupid and pointless. Why od you have to be completly brand lyal.

The 300EX is faster, quicker 100%, how do I know I OWN BOTH. The 300EX has screaming low-end wheelie power the mojave doesn't. The mojave has more top-end power b/c the DOHC, The mojave feels heavy as hell the 300ex feels light. That kick start is a b!tch foward kick, muddy boots slip off and the heavy loaded spring comes back and whacks you DAM, SHlT, *** that hurt. Other thing that's bad is the headlight it runs off the stator so it is really dim unless you're on the gas. So far I haven't had a loose bolt on my mojave it's indestrunctable, my 300EX has dropped a valve, broken cam-chain, broke ball joint. I bought it from a loser that took NO care of it. It seems like my Mojave is my back-up bike it always runs and treats me well. Both are great the 300ex easier.

have come up against only one 300ex in my travels so far, and my pipied blaster smoked. it. and i weigh 80 lbs more than the 300rider. and the 300ex has been jetted and procircuit piped.
mine's toomey'd. but am 100cc smaller and heavier.
anyway, conditions vary so much that there's no way to declare a 'king' or anything like that.
go riding! have fun! dont sweat this ' my dad can beat up yer dad ' stuff. it's pointless.

I can tell you that I sure as heck am not selling my Mo to buy a 300 EX. It is simply due to a lack of riding time and places. By the way, did I ever tell you about the time I raced seven 300 EX's on a harescramble? It wasn't even close! I beat the guy by 23.948576 seconds.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

I think they are both cool quads,although I have never ridden the Kawi. I was reading somwhere how "revolutionary" the Mojave motor was when it came out.But the said that the DOHC still used push rods,whats up with that?I am not partial to either,but if Honda came out with a liquid cooled 250cc machine,I 'm sure it would be made to sound like the second coming. Why,because it is a honda.By the way, they both can spank my 230cc quadrunner,till it comes to a tug of war,like that will happen. Later.
