Default EPI clutch kits????

I was just wondering about the EPI clutch kit?Has anyone purchased the whole kit or are you just buying the individual springs?
Maybe the whole kit just includes a primary and secondary spring?

I dont see a "kit" listed in their catalog for the P650. Everyone is buying the springs individually. The part numbers are DRS12 for the red Primary spring and KSS3 for the black Secondary spring. The red cost $19.95 and is the easiest to install and will show the most noticable difference but isnt for everyone. The black spring cost $24.95 and is much more time consuming and difficult to install "when compared to the red spring". Get the black one first, if you decide the red one is for you then get it. 100% of the owners like the black spring. The red spring raises the rpm engagement and will take some getting used to at first. It is not for a rock crawling type of rider.

I would get the black spring , I have it installed and also had the red spring , I could see a big difference with the black spring , but found the red spring to be useless , I have taken it back out , I like the low RPM enguagement of the stock spring also the RED spring is stiffer and it puts more strain on the engine brake servo motor , mine wanted to free wheel a little more and it would make the servo motor pop every once in a while.

The EPI kit has 3 springs: Black driven spring and the red and orange drive springs. The orange is even heavier than the red and a waste of $. No helixes or anything else in the kit. Just buy the black spring and maybe the red one also.

I spoke w/ Chad, at EPI today. NowaKawi is 100% correct. The "kit" is just the 3 springs (black, red, and orange). Chad even went so far as to say that most people would find the orange too abrupt for their use anyhow. I ordered the black spring. It was either $20 or $25, I can't remember for sure. The email address is: www. erlandsonsperformance.com

They said they ship same day ordered. Happy Holidays everyone!

I got it directly from EPI. $25 U.S. will cost you $50 Can. by the time you've got the spring in your hand.
