ChaosInMt, i don't mind a little humour (your new here, so you don't remember me!!)

28" tires are hard on the front end, but if they realy do weigh less than 26" claws than they shouldn't be hard on the bike. Also keep the front tires narrow, wide tires, no matter how much they weigh, are hard on the front end components. My next set of tires will be either mud lites or dirt devil XT's (26")

The 28,s loaned to me were by another trying to dump them for all the reasons I menthioned above they had the the same efect on my 650 . It has more to do with how you ride. If you do alot of very deep mud or rock hop go with the 28,s. If you dont and like to ride fast and stable go with the 26,s. I will go to 25,s ATRs in the summer. But the club I run with runs fast and puts on lots of miles.

ConMan, if you love the mud you need to step on over to High Lifter forum and chat with the pure mudders a bit. I think you would find High Lifter very helpful and entertaining.

Anyone know what the tread depth on a set of 26" or 27" mudlites is? Are they close to Bearclaws in tread depth?

ITP lists them as 34/32, which I believe is 1 1/8"

Where did you guys buy the MudLites? My local dealer told me they wouldn't be out until March.

I got my 26,s at 4ATVTIRES.com they are not yet listed on the web so you have to go online and get the phone number and call. (Real nice bunch great service) or Motoextreme.com has them listed $69.50 26 $rear 63.59 front in 26,s . I have not had any transactions with them so I do not know how they are to work with. Hope this helps.
