700

Everything that I have read doesn't show them coming with the Dual exhaust. If they do offer it as an option, you can bet that it will cost more. A lot of the modified 700's that are showing up in the mags and the internet, show them with the Dual Exhaust, I'm not sure if they are aftermarket or who makes them. You can bet that there will be a ton of aftermarket goodies coming for these Quads. Including Exhaust systems from all the different companies.

To all those with the KFX 400: How satisfied are you with this quad? Any problems? I currently have a 2002 Polaris 500 Scrambler and have been contemplating a change----KFX 400 or SUZ. 400. I think I would enjoy going back to a Manual shift tranny and a quad with less weight. I've ridden both Windrock in Tennessee and the Hatfield/McCoy trails on the Polaris and have to admit it handled everything with ease---almost too easy (seems like no challenge). Have any of you ridden these areas on the 400's?
Thanks for any info.

I don't even know where those places are, so I can't say as I have been there.
I Love my 03 KFX400. I have had exactly Zero problems with it. I read on here all the time about Cracked Frames, Blown Shocks, and Axles that Bend on the Z's. Just a note, I was told that since the KFX's were built after the initial Z's, that the Axle problems have been fixed and to my knowledge I have not heard of any problems with them (Excluding anyone that has Slammed a Tree, ran it off of a Cliff or tried to Jump the fountain at Ceasars in Vegas). Personaly, I think that you will find that there is no performance Quad that hasn't had its Bugs.
It's Not the Fastest Quad ever built, but it just seames to do everything well and that is what I was looking for. I am keeping my 400 even after my 700 gets here. I will use the 400 more for riding in the sand, and will use the 700 more as a Trail quad.
