Steering damper on a P650

Default Steering damper on a P650

Has anyone tried a steering damper or stabilizer on their 650??

It's kind of hard to get into a real tank slapper with a quad. But if you feel like spending the money...

Default Steering damper on a P650

I must be getting weak in my old age; when I hit hidden rocks at the edge of the trail at 60mph it has a tendency to kick the steering around.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

I would suggest that you try to NOT hit the rocks![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Key word - "hidden", I don't often hit them intentionally.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
Seriously, a good stablizer saves your arms on those long, hard runs on rough trails. And if you do hit a "hidden" rock, even slowly, the stabilizer can save your thumbs.
