who will win?

 

Been there done this. Stock vs Stock on the street (shhhh don't tell) the Mojave will be about 2 bike lengths ahead of the 300, 300 has about 1 mph more on the top end.

We put a pipe on the 300 and they were neck and neck, except that the 300 will slowly pull away in 5th.

Put a pipe on the Mojave and raced the piped 300ex and the 300 was about 3-4 bike lengths behind. Mo had more top speed now since it would hit the rev limiter in 5th gear.The mo would now walk away from the 300 on the top end.

 

sou you can say that noth quads are like the same. and it all depends on the rider right?

 

Stock vs Stock they are very close. The Mo really wakes up with a pipe. It wont hit the rev limiter in 5th gear with the stock pipe. It will hit the limiter in 5th very quickly with a pipe. A piped 300 will get beat by a piped Mo.

My 300EX is faster than my Mojave off the line It's about the same on top, the EX has tons of low-end power and very smooth powerband. The 300ex will win every time in short races

 

my mojave has no problem hitting the rev limiter with the stock pipe. I also think that a drag race has a lot to do with the rider. My brother has a warrior and i can get him in a 300ft drag every time.

 

I knwo my mojave will SMOKE any 300exs around hear! and there are smoe pretty nice ones!

 

It all depends on the rider, they are very equal quads. When I first got my Mojave my friend already had a pipe and filter on his 300EX and we were still close. We were racing in a field and so it always depended on who had a better launch off the line, and if one of us did bad off the line we would basically give up then. I felt we were equal riders since, we even switched quads a few times and we had the same results. Read my post that is titled "Get a real ATV".

i think mojave has like 1-2 more mph on top end and this info is comeing from a 300ex owner But as they say, rider wieght and skill means it all. If you do a search on this post a lot of info will come up.
