Had a conversation with wife about lack of funds for cruiser bike, as you all knew i spent all of the dope money on quads. Well she looked at me and said "you could trade the 650 in on a bike". Now this is from a woman that drives a honda 350, and probably doesnt realize that a 350 may haul her 130 lbs around, but will not do real well with her 130 lbs. and my 200 lbs. These things are not designed to move livestock.
Maybe i am in the wrong space time continuem, because this doesnt seem right to me, but maybe here, right now, its ok.
My thoughts run in the direction of her sled or her quad, or her cherry wood dining room set or her car, but maybe im wrong i have been wrong before.

 

I think your wife is right.

I guess the other alternative is to trade in the wife.

I would strongly recommend against trading in the wife. I tried that before and I must say life is not much fun with only 1/10th of your stuff.( anyone who thinks they can get away with half is bent in the head)
I wound suggest selling off the inlaws to Vietnames. Now keep in mind that the old ones don't fetch much coin but if she comes from a big family your laughing.
How about blackmailing high ranking government officials?
Maybe you should consider asking the wife for ideas. Did you know they invented extortion. If you don't believe me just watch divorce court.

If you take her toys or valuables, you are crazy........you need the bike for cruising with her (last resort). First resort.....you get the bike, beat on your chest, and pay the price....I've done both..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

 

Do you have any children? I hear a healhy child can fetch as much as $2,500 in Mexico. You also have two kidneys (you only need one... unless your a heavy drinker) A half way healthy kidney is worth a thousand.

As a last resort you could do what they did a 50 years ago and save your money until you have enough cash.....

The dope money is a figure of speach around here, it is the money most people in town have. I dont do drugs and still have no cash for more toys, because i spent it all.

Your advise is allways good and i respect it , i knew it is obtained through trail and error,you must have a good lawyer to get out with 10%. The extortion scam is more to my liking, and there is no shortage of corrupt goverment officials.

Roscoe, you could always get another job[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. Or better yet, get your wife to get another job[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. Make sure she gets a job where she has to work Saturdays. That way you can have more "free" time for wheeling or riding your new cruiser.

I like your last idea of your first post. Who the hell needs a dining room suite anyways? TV and a TV tray-----nuff said. On that note, sell her china set and silverware too. At first I thought my lawyer was pretty good to save me the 10% but then I got his bill for 20%.(assh--e).
