Default KFX400 Rev Limiter

I own a Suzuki Z400 and I (WE) have an issue with the rev limiter. I have an ALBA pipe, K&N air filter, Carb Jetting work, and I hit the rev limiter very easily. The KFX400 is almost identical to the Z400. The engine is made by the same, Yoshi or whoever it is. Do any of you see this as a problem or do you just live with it? Dyna, Yoshimura both make CDI's with a higher rev limiter so you dont have to hit the limiter as often. White Bros is supposed to have one in the works also. The Dyna Ignition has an adjustable timing curve units also for a little better power. You might want to check them out. The CDI runs about $400.
