Nyroc Muffler Mod?
#1
I cut the end off and hollowed it out. My problem is I can see where the three baffles are welded in and with a 12in drill bit it doesn't look like it will go through the last one am I wrong or are you going just through the first two.

The last baffle , or should i say first baffle from inlet end of muffler is probably 3" to 4" from inlet. The 12" drill will work. There is some info on nyrocs site concerning the mod, it mentions the drill bit being at least 12" long.

I have my muffler laying on my work bench ready to cut and drill.
Measured the baffles with a tape measure from the front intake pipe,
also checked with flashlight. A 10 inch drill will work on my 03 when the end
cap is cut off at the weld. Earlier Prairies might be different
Going to operate tomorrow!! If patient dies, will let you know.

Yes that could be so on some mufflers, when i drilled mine the bit i used was about 18", good part is you were able to see the weld marks. You can feel the drill when it cuts through each baffle.
