Fast Mojave

One of my friends bought a new 2000 mojave and after he broke it in he raced a warrior with a white bros. pipe, holeshot tires all around and and an air filter They raced down a straight away and he passed him down the straight away and my brother with a lt250r saw it all. What an embarresment for the warrior. Show's you that the warrior isn't very fast after all.

I have raced a 91 warrior on my 95 mojave and beat him and then I raced his dads 2000 and it was a different story it depends on the cond. of the quad.I don`t think a stock mojave can beat a stock warrior and I think the mojave and a 300ex are a very good match up as far as drag racing.who ever thinks a 300ex can pull away from a mojave in a drag race is the dumbass!

I have ridden both a mojave and a warrior, both had supertraps, and nothing else done. On verry tight trails, where no passing could be done, almost no straightaways, each one would be riding the others grabbar. In the winter on a frozen lake the warrior pulls away from the mojave.

Ok everybody,
Let's all step back for a second and grab the March 2000 issue of 4-Wheel ATV Action Magazine. Take a look at what they considered top speeds for the Mojave and the Warrior stock. 52 vs. 56 respectively. 4 Mph is not alot when you have about the same weight and an extra 100cc's. You have to give it to the Mojave's engine for being able to do keep up. Also remember that even those precious little 300ex's (which are crap in my opinion...grow up your just paying for the honda logo on the side.) have a larger engine cc and they couldn't top the Mojave's 250cc engine.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I have 2 Mojaves. One has a 11.5:1 piston, Rarz tires, and Cobra JET exhaust and the other has cams, black box, different gearing, porting, 11.5:1 piston, uni pod filter, 36mm carb, Cobra JET exhaust, and Razrs. The first one can easily beat a pipe 300ex, but doesn't stand a chance to a Warrior(if the rider is any good). The second one kills a piped 300ex and keeps up with a Warrior, but can't beat it.
