I rode in some fine white sand a couple of times with small hills and the lakota did have some trouble being underpowered and a little on the heavy side, but this was also when my lakota was stock. I would stick to the trails and woods, this is where the lakota can shine. Just my $.02

antix- i used to have a 99 lakota. I had a blast with it. It climbed everything they had at little sahara. Not killer speed but enough to have a good time

hey antix, a few of us were out at fsw and my buddy was riding my wifes lakota and had no problem keeping up with us in Glamis. The lakota is stock. I guess it all depends on the rider. If we went thru steep dunes he was right behind us even if it took him a couple of trys he still made it.
