the way i look at it, i would rather take an old quad and spend $6000 on it and have a brand new quad when i'm done then to buy a brand new quad for $6000 and it would be old by the time you're done paying for it.
plus with tecates you'll be the guy that sticks out in the crowd,and you'll definately be unique as well as having a bitchin ride.

 

Amen to that! My buddies keep telling me I should have bought a new Z400 instead of dumping money into a tranny rebuild on this thing. Just wait till I get my top end back on. I'm 50+/-lbs lighter and about 10horse stronger, and that's stock.

 

i just got a tecate4 2weeks ago but im not ready to tear it apart just yet but i do need some stuffs fot it. damn fast tho

It's nice to see someone build these quads. I had one... the fastest atv I ever road. I wonder now why five years ago I gave mine away for $1,200.

I use to tell people it only had to speeds - stop and stupid. That thing would just flat move...

Man I'd like to have tecate. I was looking for one about 3 months ago, but spent the money on my lt 500 and my blaster.

 

Yes TECATES do rule i have an 87 and 88. my friend also has an 87 and 88. We try to buy any TECATE we can get our hands on. I would love to see a web site fore us only.
