I don't get it why did all the companies stop making there flagship two strokes that they could still be making and reaping lots of profits from? I don't get it I mean they still make 2 stroke dirtbikes.....

 

I think its because to many people were gettin wasted on them. The laws today are a lot more strict about drinking and driving then they were back in the days when they made 2 stroke quads. Quads were never as popular as dirtbikes either, you don't see the championship quad races on pay-per-view like you do the Motocross dirtbikes.
