KFX400 Pro's and Con's...
#1
Hey! I am probably going to be getting a KFX400 after I get my blaster back together after I blew it up. I don't really want to ride it anymore cuz I'm still a little weary and have outgrown it in the 7 months I've owned it and am prolly gonna be trading it in for a KFX400. I would like to know the Pro's and Con's of them. Are there any problems that most of you have come across while owning them? I would really like to know a little more about them. They look REALLY AWESOME!!! Thanks in advance!

Well the only fault I have found so far is that the stock rear skid plate is junk if you ride in any rocks at all. I replaced mine with a PRM and am very happy with it. I haven't had any of the axel problems that plagued the early Zs. No complaints here at all great quad.

The pros--They handle great, they are smooth and powerful all the way through the power band, they have reverse, they shift smooth, the suspension is good, they look awesome, they hook up well, there are tons of mods available.
The cons--The stock skid plates are weak, the rear brake rotor will warp and squeak almost immediately, they are too addicting, you will actually lose sleep thinking about the next time you will ride it, and thats basically it. It is all around as good an all purpose sport quad you will see on the market now.

I love mine and I can agree with most of the cons , and I still lose sleep thinking about the next ride.
My skid plate lasted the first day I rode it , I did'nt like the way the factory exhaust sounded , and I had to adjust the suspension
cause the factory settings suck .
Everyone I ride with have EX's and they agree that there is a night and day difference to the better
