Good price for a Prairie 650 in Canada?
Hey everyone,
Well I'm finally ready to take the jump and I'm planning on purchasing a new 650 in the very near future. I've been reading up on this awesome machine for so long, and I can't wait to actually have one. I'm just wondering what everyone paid for the 650 in Canada? I've been doing a bit of research and I think I've found a few good deals, but I was just wondering what everyone paid OTD for theirs. I know the MSRP is $10299 but I'm assuming you can get them for a way better price then that in Canada. I'm planning on keeping this bike for a long time, so resale value is not an issue. Should I be looking at getting a leftover 2002. I think I've found a couple of good deals on some 2002.
Here are the deals that I've found. Can anyone let me know if they sound like good deals?
At one dealer here in New Brunswick, I've found 2002 KVF 650 Green or Camo for $99 under invoice and they include a winch and either $400 in Kawasaki Accessories or an extended 24 month warranty. I would definitly go with the warranty. That sounds like a good price, but I'm not sure what invoice would be on this ATV.
Another dealer has the same deal but is selling $49 over invoice for a 2002.
I'd appreciate if someone could give me an idea on what I should be looking to pay.
Thanks in advance
Dan

Good price for a Prairie 650 in Canada?
Are you willing to travel to the Mid-West U.S.? You can buy a 03' P-650 in Ohio or Michigan for as low as $6K(U.S.), plus any applicable tax OTD !!!!!! I have seen ads in the local "For Sale/Trade" papers around here. Don't know how involved it would be to come over to the U.S. and buy a P-650 to bring back to Canada.

Thanks for the info. I picked up the autotrader and I seen that Roy Duguay is advertising $49 over invoice. So that must be in the $8500 then. Wheels & Wave in Moncton is advertising $99 under invoice. I'm going to call them today and find out the price. So do you think I could walk out with a new 2002 for $9700 OTD.
