The question was which is better and was asked in the kawasaki forum. We all know the pred is better all around then the Z or KFX.

That's kinda what I was saying. If you're just going to get a quad and want it to do most things well without modding it at all due to budget or whatever, the predator is fine. If you are going to change to Axis shocks, wider arms, bore it and stuff then everything you get with the predator would just be coming off anyway, so it doesn't make sense to buy it for the parts on it really if they are coming off to get the first rate stuff. The only reason I can see right now are 100 more CC. You can bore it like anything else so a Z will never match its' displacement.

The Z400 is incredible with just a few mods. 40 lbs lighter makes a big difference and reverse is cool.

 

I think that when you consider that the Pred has $1500 worth of tires and shocks from the factory and 100 more ccs you can't go wrong.
