Well what do I think? I think it all depends on what you want it for. I don't think any of the machines are really an upgrade, and the 250EX is a step backwards. If your gonna upgrade go with a Z-400/KFX or even a 400 EX if you don't need reverse and get a real good deal.

I own a 2001 Warrior and I have ridden 300ex's and to tell you the truth, if you are under 6ft tall and 190lbs, go for the 300ex. I have can beat my friends 300ex's in straight away's but the warrior is just too damned heavy for jumping or doing any tricks on without spending any serious money for modifacation's. Know the 300ex is great all aroung quad for any level rider, especialley smaller and lighter people. But I do agree with 2000 mojave, if your going to spend the money on something new go for the Z400 or kfx400 ( same difference, different colors ). I don't know how old you are but chances are you'll out grow the 300ex rather quick, and then your stuck with something you just blew 4,000 on. Know the kfx400 is great: it's light, rider friendly, has reverse, power isn't intimidating for newer or smaller riders but its crazy fast when you want it to be, and size wise its something that will last you for years as opposed to a warrior or a 300 ex which you will more than likely get used too and get bored with real quick. But that's just my opinion ( although I made that exact 4,000 dollar mistake and screwed myself ), so good luck to ya.

Hey,
so ur thinkin of buyin a new quad huh. i had a 2000 kawasaki mojave. i think its a piece. all it did was fall apart. it had a lot of torque for a 250 i have to give it that. the engine is very very reliable. i beat the crap outta that thing. and still never lost power or smoked. it is a good quad for a beginner. the warrior is fro a har trail rider. it is the best trail quad u could ever buy. it is liek bulletproff. enough power to get you through pretty much anything and once u get that thing goin it screws cuz its a 350. but the warrior is deffinately deffinately not a race/jumping quad. and for the 300ex, it isnt that much faster then a mojave. i raced a 2001 300ex and kept up wit it the whole time. there is only a 34 cc difference. not much. but if id either get a z400/kfx400 or 400ex. the kfx is the best all around quad in its 400 cc class. it rides the smoothest and isnt very tippy. the 400ex is also a very good bike. the kfx and z are a lil bit more ballsy tho. the honda will last forever, its just its air cooled and it has no reverse which is arite if ur a racer but not if u ride trails. so if i were u id go wit the kfx but if not that then the 400. hope this helped, later
