Default Raptor or KFX????

Hey guys this is kyle. im new to this atv forums site. I recently had a 2001 kawi kx125 but i had it taken away from the cops. be4 that i had a kx 80 and be4 that i had a xr 50. my first bike ever was a 1988 suzuki lt80. i now have a 2000 kawi ksf mojave 250. so i am an experienced rider. i am looking for a new quad and im having a little bit of trouble. i want a raptor really bad but people say it is way to much power for me becuase i only weigh 135 pounds. but i believe a 125 is just as fast a raptor and i think i can handle it but ive never riden one. and i want a kfx becuase its the step down from the raptor. i hate hondas and the 400 ex has no reverse and its air cooled so i dont want instead of the raptor so its the choice between a raptor and the kfx. can i have your guys input? thank, kyle

Default Raptor or KFX????

First of all, the KFX is not a step down from the Raptor. If you cannot handle a Raptor, you cnnot handle a KFX. it sounds like you would be ok with either from your experience, but from the guys i know with raptors, they say the KFX steers, shifts, and rides all around smoother, but the Raptor is smoother power all through the band. being your size, although the Raptor is not much bigger than the KFX, it "seems" bigger to me, I'd say go with the KFX. but the Rapto is an awesome machine also. I'd test ride both if you can and choose on that, not what others tell you. Good luck.
