Hey there 650 owners, my 650 sure jumps out of the hole fast. I think i have one of the fastest 650's for take off. BUt i do not have much top end. I have raced about 7 650's and i can kill them out of the hole by so much but then when i get to top end they can catch up to me. Why is this, i have raced a 660 grizz and i just slottered it out of the hole by about 20 quad lengths but then it will catch up and pass me top end. Mine is very hard to get over 100 kms an hour. It gets to 90 kms an hour very easily but then it slowly creaps up to 100 kms per hour. BUt if i had to pick between top end and low end i would deffinatly pick low end. When im at a stop and punch the throttle the tires come right off the ground with out any effort at all. Well seya later 650 owners. THese machines rule.

 

The 650 has a CDI box that backs power off when you hit 50mph. as soon as a custom box is available your problem should be solved.
Is your bike stock? I tend to get the holeshot alot with mine because I race with 4 wheel drive on and some guys think it will slow them down. They are still spinning tires when I am several bike links ahead of them.

How do you like your claws? And are they lighter than holeshot atr's? Reason why i ask is cuz i nail my bike outta the hole and it really doesn't wanna wheelie. I do have a warn 2500 lb winch though. Whats your top speed in mph? ( I hated math class and im not much good at converting km to mph )

 

100km/h =62mph, haven't you guys ever read an automobile magazine? Every time they show either 0-60 tests or 0-100km/h tests as a relative gauge of maximum acceleration to reasonable speeds.

Anyway for those that ever want to convert something, I've found this site really useful, and bookmarked it. Constantly going back to it. It converts anything. I use the liter/gallon, the torque/newton meters, hp/kwh, miles/km, and pounds/kg. Great site. Hopefully this isn't considered advertising, because they dont sell anything, or charge anything, just a free web resource.

Hey there, my 650 weelies alot and very easily, in the sumemr when i am on dry ground all i have to do is lean back and punch the throtal. On pavement no matter what i do when i punch the gass it lifts the front up. Actual bear claws are a realy heavy tire. I read in a magizine when they had a mud tire shoot out and the bear claws were very heavy compared to the others, and they dotn even have half the lugs soem of the others had. If i was to buy new bear claws i would get 9 s in the fornt and a 11's in the back. My 10s and 12.5s are a bit wide i find. O ya and another reason ym 650 cat walks so easy is the 3 inch lift i gave it. It realy makes it cat walk easyer. And i also have a winch in the front. LAter dude. BYe
