defective belts from manufactures is a thing of the past I think, but they were out of spec even before they were installed. Things to watch for on a belt is the thickness of the belt and cracks. You can buy a belt thinkness gauge but they are expensive, I'm sure nyroc has another solution I leave mine up to the dealer.
