Default 700 vs Raptor then 700 vs house

Yep, that's right, the Raptor has a pipe and jet kit, the 700 beat it outta the hole bad but then the Raptor got it on top end. Seems to be the norm for the 700 vs Raptor races I've read about tho. Now onto the second part,,, this V Force was picked up from the dealer Friday, Saturday was the big first test ride. Wow was I impressed, gas it and up the front comes. Well, the guy who owns it let a kid ride it who was just a little too young to be on it but he was taking it easy and putting around. Then the kid stopped on the grass, hit the gas and all hell broke loose! Up it went tossing him off, he was close to the house and the V Force grab bar dug into the dirt, bent and the tail light was destroyed and the rear plastic busted from the mounts. It then hit the posts that hold the porch roof up on the house and flipped and shot straight up in the air and flipped and ,,,, well,, it was not a good sight! From where I was standing behind my full size Chevy 4x4, I could see the front end shooting up in the air, that's how high it went! The end result was a day old V Force with a bent steering stem, every peice of plastic on it is either scratched or broken, mostly broken tho,,,, bent grab bar, tail light and the plastic it is held in by destroyed, headlight busted, the frame support for the steering stem is bent, and this is just what we could see with what was left of the plastic still on. Good news is that the kid was shaken and bruised but not hurt. THANK GOD! Parts can be replaced!

What is this like the 4th post of people getting a v-force and smashing the thing within the first 48hrs!

Glad to hear the kid was alright..but maybe people will realize this is no kids toy!

FIRST thing I tell people who want to ride it is DON'T give it full throttle unless you are already moving pretty good.

OUCH.
I was determined not to wreck it the first weekend. I can see how this stiffashell plastic is gonna break and bend up all kinds of stuff in a rollover. Better get a bumper quick to protect what is probably a $300 radiator huh? Really talked to my son about the likely re$ult$ of a crash. He's got about 5 hours seat time with no problem.
I, on the other hand, cased a jump and she rebounded to vertical before landing on all 4 minus a rider, digging in the grab bar (not bent) and effeciently removing the tail light and housing. LOL

I also got the thumb throttle stuck under my own forefinger at WFO repeatedly!! I'm hoping some fat oury grips with a bigger flange will cure that problem. Scared the heck outta me several times. Tell me this has happened to somebody else!? please.

I let a lot of people ride the cannondale but i don't think i'll be as easy with this Quad.
It may be dangerous
