2007 Mojave?
#11
The only quad that I would own that doesn't have reverse is my brother's Quadracer. The 400EX is a trail quad and it should have reverse. It isn't a race quad by any stretch of the imagination even though people use them for that. Thing is, when they're raced they're not stock!
The Z/KXF 400 is LIGHTER, has reverse and LIQUID COOLING. The specs show the Z/KXF as the lighter quad but you say it isn't. Congratulations, you are the only person in the world that believes that statement. You also ride in the dunes where reverse isn't used very much. Try riding in the woods one day and see how much you like dragging a 375lb quad backwards though mud, wet leaves, overhanging branches, devils club, salmonberry bushes, stinging nettles, all the while being swarmed by mosquitos and no-seeums.
Pushing a quad backwards f-ing retarded unless you are getting the performance of a Quadracer or a Banshee in return. Your 400EX ain't no high performance quad no matter what the Honda salesman told you!
