V Force Paddles

I got the Skat Trak Edge 8 Paddle tires, and I didn't have any troubles getting up any of the hills, but I would go with the Extreme Haulers if you plan on racing either hill shooting or drag racing.
I will say this, my 700 was leaving some serious deep rutts all the way up the hills, and throwing a roost like crazy. Doesn't help you get moving, but looks cool.

I have a ??? for you guys that have the extreams on there 700's. Thats the same tire that I have on mine, but the concern I have is my 700's trany bangs and clanks when on less than realy soft/loose sand. If I keep on the gas its ok but let off you whould think it was going to fall apart. I have never had paddle tires on a shaft drive auto trany bike. I was wondering if any of you have herd that noise and if its just normal for this type of trany. The sound is simalar to the clanking sound when I am riding hard and fast and have to get off the gas in rough terain and the ebs systems are trying to activade causing the banging sounds. What have you guys seen with yours.
PS. THEY HOOK UP GREAT!!!

I put some Sand Skates on this weekend they worked great, so far I have tried Sand Skates, Gecko's and next weekend I will try a set of 8 paddle haulers.
Application
Radical... Webster defines radical as: "Favouring extreme change." In the Sand Skate's case we define RADICAL as: 'favouring extreme changes in direction' Sand Tires Unlimited takes sand tire technology more seriously than any other manufacture we know. Until we produced this tire higher technology in sand tires meant more and bigger paddles. That's OK for cars and 4x4's, not for ATV's. Through extensive testing we found that a non-symmetrical paddle design provides the best turn rates and turn control. Now we manufacture a left side tire and a right side tire. These tires should not be interchanged, keep the right side tire on the right side of the vehicle. Wheel width is very important for optimum performance. Sand Skate is designed for a 10" wide wheel. These tires are great for climbing and playing in the softest sand.
Benefits
Durable & Rugged 4 ply construction
20-1/2" high & 10" wide when mounted on a 10" wide wheel at 5 psi
Excellent climbing ability even in the softest sand
8 and 10" bead diameters
Can be grooved 4 ways to tailor for 200cc to 500cc and 3 & 4 wheelers
Tire weight - (not available) lbs.

They are about the same weight on Douglas .190 aluminum wheels as my cousins sand skates for his blaster are w/o rims.

And yes the info is right off Sand Tires Unlimited Page http://www.sandtiresunlimited.com/index.html

My dealer is having a hard time finding an aluminum wheel for the paddles I want.
What rim are you guys using and are there any shops in Oregon that might have Skat Trak Extremes (8 Paddle) with rims in stock?
