Default wax

im gonna be takeing my 650 on a three day trip this spring break and i plan on getting really muddy! i am gonna wash and wax it down before i go and was wondering what kind of wax you guys use, i have some turtle wax but it says its not for vinyl surfaces. will the wax help to wash off mud easy? or do i have to use something else? thanks

Ryder, there is a cheap way to do this. Spray your quad down with Pam (aerosol cooking oil). Make sure you don't get any on the seat or grips!!!! Keep it away from the motor and muffler as well. When you are done muddin, hit it with a hose and the mud comes off like nothin.

Ive also used WD40 on the engine and understuff, just dont spray anything needing external lubrication, it will break it down. it will smoke off a little bit when you first start it,but makes it easier to clean later. Im going to try some Quick Detailer spray on my next ride and see what that does to it.
