Default Orange Crusher Report

Just returned from my first trip to the dunes on my KFX 700.

I don't know any other way to say it but I have never had so much fun on a quad. The suspension is incredible. I didn't realize how good it was until I jumped on my KFX 400 (beats me up a little). Don't get me wrong I like the 400, but in my opinion it's in a different class.

I was doing ALOT of jumping and it handles perfectly.

I only raced Z400's and 400ex's. Both had paddles/pipe and propably filters. Mine was bone stock, didn't even have paddles and was beating them by a quad length or two.

One thing that I didn't like and maby mine just needs an adjustment, sometimes getting it into reverse is a little difficult. It grinds alot before it engages. I will be talking to the tech's at my first service.

I'll be down at Winchester Bay Thur-Sun trying out my new Skat-Trak Extremes.

Best $6500.00 I ever spent

AMEN !

About the reverse .... your engine might be idling a little fast .... I slowed
mine down a bit ...( same on the P650) ... and it changes without noises.

I love my P650 ....... but it feels like a sled compared to the KFX !!!

PS ..... you didn't violate the 1/2 throttle for 10 hour thing did you ?

i could not agree more, i could ride this thing all day and not even get a little tired.I even rode over huge gravel pits a creek beds a higher speed and didnt even feel a little bump. The power is outragous, and they will only get stronger when the aftermarket kicks in gear with
duals, filters, jets, and big bore kits!
