This engine is incredibly strong for a stock engine. Justwait for other stuff to come like built engines and everything you can think of.

Got a pipe in the mail today for my daughter's raptor (80). She'll be stoked on Sunday; I don't know how I'll fit the pipe in her Easter basket. Got headers and pipe coming any day for my CBR.....my V-force is really going to feel left out. How hard was it to re-jet your bike? That's the only part that freaks me out.

Polz ... rejetting the 700 is easy. You can get the carb bowls off without removing the carbs.
I would guess I could change my jets a second time in about 10 minutes.

I have always had polaris. Currently two 350 4wd units. I wanted to get something quicker and with better handling but still wanted to be able to get through rough stuff on long trail rides. Will the KFX 700 work or should I go with one of polaris units 400 ,500 or 700?

"...YOU CAN RIDE IT VERY SLOW IF NEED BE AND IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE IT HAS A LOW RANGE"

You can, I'll have to try that. I get on mine and just haul @$$. Never thought to go slow. Hmm you may be on to something...

Welcome to the club!

ProRiderCanyonLake ,,,,, When you say "go through the rough stuff" .... what do you mean ???

I think The Polaris units you are considering are all 4x4's ????
So .... I am not sure if you looking for a quick 4x4 or a quick sport quad.

If it is a quick 4x4 you want ... I would suggest a P650....
If it is a quick sport quad ... one that can get scary fast in a hurry ... then I suggest the KFX

My quad before the P650 was a Polaris 500HO. It was a good quad.... really liked the ride.
but not in the same class as the P650 for preformance. The P650 will excellerate to 40mph,
and come to a complete stop is less distance than it takes the 500HO to get to 40mph.

HighlifterV700- How did the Geckos do on the sand? I ordered some Friday and will be trying them next week. The price was right, but how do the perform? Maybe should have ordered the Scat-Trak Edge tires, but I spent enough this week with the new V Force. Then, I had to pay 60 bucks for 2nd day air freight to get my paddles. Could not find anyone with the wheels to fit the Kawi. Ended up calling just about every advertiser in Dirtwheels until I found some. The place I scored had 1 set left, Recreation Tires.

Let me know how the Geckos did. I saw the new ATV Sport magazine had the Geckos on their test machine, so I figured they must have done OK for them. Can you hookup enough to get the front end up?
