oil filters

Default oil filters

what do k&n oil filters do that fram doesn't? thanks for any help?

I dont now about k@n but fram filters fall apart and ar crap. i would go with amsoil thats what my friend is goin to start running.

K&N oil filters have a better quality media than a typical filter like fram, so they will have higher particulate trapping efficiency, aside from a few other small benefits. Basically in short, they filter better. The amsoil filter or the mobil 1 have the highest quality synthetic filtration media, for the best filtration. The amsoil smf-103(prairie650) for instance, filters particles down to 10 microns in size. A standard fram or stock filter may only trap 50-70 micron particles etc. You get what you pay for.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
