I wouldnt put a Fram oil filter on anything I own.
There is a website {I dont remember the address} that tested most of the filters on the market and the frams were crap.

You should be just fine with an Amsoil or a Mobile1 filter.

I run the amsoil synthetic 4-stroke/atv oil in the engine and front diff, its a 0w-40, with the smf-103 filter.

a WIX or Purlator GOLD filter is also good, they are some of the best you can get.

You can get these at O'Reilly's auto parts, Napa, etc...

On cars, amsoil claims you can go 15,000 miles without changing their oil.

However, this doesn't mean you should go this long. The filter wears out and needs replacing before the oil breaks down, therefore you need to change the oil more frequently.

I mean, it's only a few dollars anyway. I change mine every 200 miles, just to do it. It's very expensive and gives me peace of mind that my filter and oil are doing their job.
