Mojave filter

Default Mojave filter

Should I just put a K&N stock style filter on my mojave or just take out the airbox and clamp a filter on the carb

hey man, if your plannin on crossing any streams this summer, id leave the stock airbox on there(even though it sucks and i hate it)---its kindof a Pain In The A$$ to put back on right...but if your only doin like mx ridin or light trail ridin, id put the clip on....and if your gonna make a less restrivtive intake setup, you should seriously think avout jettin your carb....itl fully realize all the benefits of your new air filter

so for all around riding the stock airbox filter is better right?

yeah....the stock airbox doesent seem to be that restrictive....and its definately a good idea to be on the safe side if your riding through streams.....hydrolocked engines are a real mess.....

i havent gone through streams yet but i dunno if that would change during summer also i have heard stories of the k and n clamp on filter falling off during racing so u mite want to look at other filters
